Hi all - got another one
Were setting up to build a new NetInsight environment (all new) so, upgrade from existing version to latest is not an option. User settings (roles, profiles, PASSWORDS etc) are kept in a file called mynt.dat in \data\. However, I've been told that I cannot copy the file from one version to the next and will need to enter the information manually in the new installation.

As you might imagine (or maybe know ! ) this could and probably will be a long tedious task. Has anyone had an existing setup and performed a fresh install ? Did you find an alternate way of getting user information into the new environment?

Hello Bob,

You may want to give the Unica technical support team a call, they can confirm or deny if the version you are on and the version you are looking to install on are compatible at the individual mynt.dat file level.

Assuming that they are not, you could always copy your current production installation - sans the database data - and then upgrade the installation.

Thank you,
