NetInsight - Time to move on... :-(

The time has come... I've been worried about this happening since 2010 when IBM acquired Unica shortly after acquiring Coremetrics just a few weeks earlier.IBM NetInsight is dead. The last known NetInsight release was 8.6.0.12 (a fix pack). released on Sept 5, 2014. If something horribly bad happens then IBM support may provide a patch, but there is no commitment. If you really, REALLY love NetInsight you can move over to a Netezza appliance ($$$) where you can purchase Digital Analytics On…See More

Changing the communications measurement paradigm

Posted by Mike Cottingham on October 8, 2013 at 3:30pm 0 Comments

There are a couple of things that have bothered me over my years in channel measurement. Well, you might think that if there's only a couple of things that have bothered me over the years, I'm better off than most.  But I have a high tolerance for pain and irritation.  These two things are wolverines gnawing at my shins.

The first relates to how channel measurement, be it web, social media, email or even print and broadcast media, is often considered in isolation of the other…

NetInsight Wordpress plugin (not official)

Posted by Lee Isensee on December 22, 2011 at 3:45pm 1 Comment

Hello Everyone,

*Disclaimer: this post has nothing to do with my official job*

One of my pet peeves of having a Wordpress blog is that all the plugins for web analytics are vendor specific. While I could write some super elaborate 'all vendor friendly' plugin, it would take more time than I can commit. So, I've whipped together in the past day or two a NetInsight specific Wordpress plugin.

It is a version 1.0.0 release and is certainly not…
